Alina Karmadanova is a painter born in Siberia. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Design. From 2018-2023, she was residing and creating in Shanghai, China. From 2022-2024 Alina is studying at Falmouth University (UK) and gets her master degree in Illustration online. She graduated from New Brunswick College of Craft and Design with an advanced studio practice certificate.

Alina's art centers around exploring the position and experience of modern women, and how today's norms, social media, and technology intersect with the human psyche, emotions and cultural biases.
