Connection. Part 1

In an age dominated by social media, where the lines between reality and curated identities blur, my diptych seeks to explore this intricate relationship. Inspired by Gillian Rose's poignant observation that “the connection between seeing and true knowing was broken,” this work delves into the dissonance between our physical selves and our online personas.
Through vibrant colors and a semi-abstract portrayal of body parts, the overlapping forms create a dynamic visual narrative that reflects the complexities of self-perception in a digital world. Each element deconstructs traditional views of identity, inviting viewers to question how they present themselves and how they are perceived by others.
